I played Katawa Shoujo years ago and really enjoyed it, and I've long been curious about the Fate games. However, Visual Novels have a reputation for having all kinds of horrific sicko shit - pedophilia, incest, sexual assault, - and I've been reluctant to explore the medium bc I don't need that in my life. So i was wondering if there's anywhere that reviews VN games with a specific aim of sorting out the unpleasant and immoral?

CW for Fate/Stay Night specifically

Domestic violence, attempted sexual assault, mentions of suicide, gore, mild body horror. None of it is glorified and all of it is done by villains, but it is there.

If you don't mind waiting a little, the English translation of Mahoyo, by the same author, is out in December. I haven't played it yet, but it's newer than F/SN and my understanding is that it's much more mild.
