Volume Up/Down activates Page up/Down. (lemmy.world)

So I found this one up by accident while watching a video. The volume control was inoperative. I exited the video and found that volume up and down now controlled page up and down. Exiting the application. The volume control returns.

Maybe this is a feature??

I'm on a Pixel 7A.

Seems to be a new feature, on the comment page it goes through each comment when hitting the vol buttons

Could make sense in that context, but it's definitely annoying when a comment links to a video and now I can't control the obscenely loud volume of that video without exiting the comments section, finding another video, changing the volume there, and returning to the comment with the video. Seems like at least part of this feature is a bug.

Yes, this is a feature. You can disable it in settings.

Edit: Never mind, it is Jerboa that has this option, not Connect.

I just looked in settings and I guess you cannot disable it anymore. I remember seeing it in the settings at some point, but it must have been removed.

Edit: Never mind, it is Jerboa that has this option, not Connect.
