FSA's are literally just a way to steal from workers. The idea of a use-it-or-lose-it savings account is vile and just serves as an excuse to cut benefits while subsidizing a small group of financial predators.

FSA & HSA are effectively scams. Matt Bruenig: The Welfare System Stole $2k From Me
One of my jobs changed HSA providers like 3 times in 5 years. Had a few years worth of employer contributions get devoured by fees because it was a pain in the ass to get the right forms to transfer the balances.
It's such a pain getting them to rollover balances to a fee free HSA and I'm not even sure I got them all.
My HSA problem was "solved" by getting onto my partner's better healthcare and having a bunch of doctor's visits to diagnose a single chronic health issue lol. Death to America. At least I treated myself to a new pair of glasses for something "fun."
