All the insufferable nerds on r/politics screaming "she is literally paid by Putler nooo" right now, I can hear it lmfao
unfathomable how anyone could live through 2016 and 2020 and still believe in electoralism at the national level
But if we don't vote this time, democracy is over for sure
If we don't vote for Biden they'll restart student loan payments, covid relief will end, the right to abortion could be taken away, labor and environmental movements will be repressed and a bunch of anti Trans bills could get passed.
Oh, no! Now Cornel West has no chance of winning.
she's just trying to split the vote. a vote for Jill Stein is a vote for literal fascist Joe Biden. if you vote for anyone but cornel west you want Biden to win.
It's her turn!
I said I'd do it again and I get to vote for Jill Stien to just piss off the libs again
Its her turn
yeah good ok
what is dead may never die
Probably a hot take, but her anti-vaxxer pandering was extremely cringe before COVID, and if she doesn't fully denounce any vaccine "skepticism" now, she needs to fuck off forever.
Since I live in a safely blue state I voted for her in 2016. No regrets, didnβt change a damn thing since, surprise surprise, my vote doesnβt matter cause I donβt live in a swing state.
, Afroman already has my
The first picture I saw of Jill Stein was her with hands painted red, screaming in Condaleeza Rice's face. Always had a softspot for the lady, even if she is kind of a weirdo.
I thought Cornell West was running on the Green Party ticket? Not that it matters
Nah he left to run as an independent for no discernible reason lmao
Thanks, i hadn't heard that. Sounds like a really solid campaign he's running there.
His explanation was that the primary process in the green party would get in the way of campaigning. Personally I'm not buying it, and it's a bad move. Getting ballot access is crucial if you're serious about challenging Biden, and the Green Party (and Libertarian Party) are the only parties that are going to be on the ballot in every state.
And then there's also the thing where he's apparently friends with Harlan Crow, has a bunch of tax debt, etc. Great academic, probably not someone that should run for President.
Who cares?
