What about... just going back to Work-from-Home (for those businesses that can handle that work situation)? My entire job can be done while at home and we did it quite well for however long the pandemic lasted, then we were forced to come back in because "our culture" demanded it. Why not just let those workers who don't have to commute, just not commute and also reduce gas/emissions in the process?

I worked a 6-2 shift once. Quite liked it as I am a morning person. Had to go to bed around 9:00 though.
