well realistically with the injury crisis at the start winning against Galatasaray and Crystal Palace would have brought it forward to or 74/75 games matching or besting Guardiola's record.
This number alone is not good enough to judge, IMO.
In which manner the team won those games? And what kind of teams are they? With which players the team won?
How did the team managed the remaining games? How many points?
Like you said - 1 nil is a lot different from 6 nil. Team chemistry, goal scored, goal conceded number of goal scorer, chances created, number of chances creator (whole lot of stats).
Even without exact numbers the team is not doing well at this moment.
As for the stat, the number might be up there but the squad is unsatisfactory (just my opinion).
It's also because we haven't had many draws. Zero in the prem this season
