Gonna guess it's not the Max deal, since it's never the Max deal.
Does Max even exist outside the US?
Not sure, but IIRC, one of the reasons they rebranded it from HBO Max to just Max is because the HBO brand is virtually unknown outside North America. So if it doesn't, WBD probably wants it to soon.
I signed up earlier in the year and I needed a VPN and a US-based friend to use their credit card. So at least at that time it was very locked off.
So with that in mind, this being an announcement for "fans worldwide", it's definitely not Max.
My dad works for wrestling and he said Tony wants to book a PPV on the moon. Pretty sure that's what the announcement is going to be.
