these cage grabs and getting ridiculous, just use one of your five free fence grabs to defend a position and presto, refs happy because no more fence grabs
This is all John "I invented all the rules" McCarthy's fault, he used to openly talk about how it would be illogical to take a point for minor infractions, and so now it's turned into all this.
If they don't want to take a point, there should be predetermined positions that the fouled fighter can choose to restart in.
"Ok, you grabbed the cage, fighter A chooses to restart in top half guard. GO"
It's incredibly simple to stop all this.
