As someone with ASD, noise pollution is a fucking problem. I don't care how personal you take it. 👀

I've totally been there, and get the frustration. I get two mornings to myself per week, and enjoy spending the morning outside when the weather is nice. I've cultivated the land around my home into a natural landscape and birdsong makes a truly wonderful ambience.
Unfortunately when spring comes and I'm most looking forward to this I'm reminded that much of the time all I'll be able to hear is the roar of a lawnmower, and the noise is multiplied across the whole city.
Electric tools (wired or otherwise) are quiet enough to not even be a nuisance, and obviate this entire argument. Not only are they less loud, the sound just doesn't carry. I think they lack the bass tones of a combustion engine.
You're less of a peasant and more of a serf imo
serfs are peasants
Weren't peasants just farmers who owned their agricultural property rather than bonded-to-the-land workers ?
it was anyone who made their living from manual labour farming it comes from french for country dweller
Kulaks and their labourers were both peasants for example
