I feel this in reverse sometimes. I'll find a new (online) furry community, try to get involved, and then come to the realization that everyone there is half my age. It feels very awkward.

My friend took some time to be convinced to go to a furry walk. He thought he was way too old to get along with anyone (we are both 30). I was glad he went anyway because he got to reconnect with old friends and other people he lost contact with .
