Fuck karma.

I have a karma of 153k but I'm now in lurk mode on Reddit. I usually only browse it from my phone, and the moment my app closes on 30th June, Reddit is dead to me.

My original accounts from pre-2010 had 5 digit karma. That was before uncapped vote counts. They numbers used to be a faked representation of actual up/down votes. I think it's supposed to be closer to real values now? I haven't been keeping up to date on redditisms tbh.

I got into the practice of nuking accounts every few years. I used to post a lot of TV show discussion threads because nobody else does. And there was no automod bots back then. I think I posted quite a few first season of shows that went on to become quite popular. I used to feel bad for deleting that content but not anymore. I feel kinda vindicated now.

I was an only commenter, i had around 20k.

Link karma 2,351, comment karma 447,321. I'm not entirely gone from Reddit yet though, there are still some niche communities over there that I like that haven't moved or gone dark. I expect I won't be entirely gone until they remove old.Reddit, which I expect will come sooner rather than later at this point.

I don't remember my karma, but I think it was ~2.600 in total, being ~140 in posts and the rest in comments. All that in 2 years.
