Jessica Fletcher from "Murder, She Wrote" should be on that list. She'd solve the case by playing ignorant and being really neighborly and sweet to that creepy guy next door 
and just keep him talking until she solves the case.

Charlie from Always Sunny unfortunately could never catch Light, while his idiot savant nature and general good luck would cause him to stumble into the perfect solution, the rest of the gang would completely fuck it up for him either accidentally or out of spite and he would fumble the climactic parlor scene.

I think he'd somewhere in the bottom right, on account of just locking on to the first person he suspected to be the killer and beating a confession out of them before clocking off for a pint in the railroad arms.
