If Meltzer truly didn't matter, then people like Corgan and Cornette and their like wouldn't constantly have to say so.
On the one hand, fuck Billy Corgan.
On the other hand, far too many people let Dave Meltzer's opinion automatically become their opinion. This problem is not exclusive to Meltzer, or even to wrestling. This problem exists in all forms of media that has critics/reviewers. There's nothing wrong with letting a critic or a review score help make an informed decision, but it's important to remember that one person's trash is another person's treasure, and vice-versa.
On the other other hand, though, fuck Billy Corgan.

Eh. Dave is an asset to pro wrestling with all the work he does, but I don't understand how anyone takes him completely seriously. Then again, who the fuck can take Corgan seriously?
