Allen Pan was sent a cease and desist order, after legally purchasing the "Mythbusters" and making fun of CNN (for stealing his video) (lemmy.world)

TLDW: the company that forgot to renew on "Mythbusters" also owns CNN. He bought the rights to "Mythbusters", and made fun of CNN.

CNN stole one of his videos, and in relatiation he made a parody of their logo and sold it on t-shirts saying "CUM". Said company is now swinging their legal weight around in an attempt to silence/ punish Allen Pan. It is unclear if said company will even ALLOW him to comply.
