Just started watching old episodes on Prime (thanks to this sub). Season 12 questions. Did they ever get to race the LaFerrari vs Mclaren ? Do you think Hammond spent three-nights on the freezing mountain in Canada or did they shoot that all in one 24hour period with full production crew over the hill with trailers? I’m never sure what they actually do vs what they pretend to do.

There is absolutely no way that Richard the hamster Hammond actually spent three nights like that with a humpee for cover and a poxy fire for warmth.

Just out of shot was the fully heated, luxury caravans fully stocked with booze that he and the crew actually stayed in.

Don't take anything you see in the show too seriously. Just enjoy it for what it is... brilliance.
