To be honest, I won't really miss any specific subreddit. Many of the niche and hobby ones that I cared for, I would not subscribe to, because of the low-effort posts.

For me, it's going to be r/SkyGame (the game itself speaks of humanity at its best, coupled with scenescapes and moments that will leave you agape in awe and pain), r/HFY (astounding, original stories and serials about humanity at its best, even through moments of suffering within the wider multiverse), and r/FilipinoHistory (an intelligently-enough discourse space for all things Philippine history, culture, and society as a whole).

One major area Lemmy seems to be lacking in is sport, the soccer lemmunity(?) is sparse and there isn't one for my favourite club yet :(

I’ll definitely miss r/worldbuilding. Lots of people making cool stuff on there.

There was a lot of leftist communities on reddit that I hope survive in some form fuckcars, antiwork, fucklawns, breadtube.

r/FunnyAnimals. For some reason, it made me sleep better at nights. A few funny videos with pets and I could end my day with a smile.

r/notjustbikes. The man himself no longer wants to use reddit without third-party clients or moderate the community without access to the API, so the community is basically gone forever unless reddit decides to revert the change, which won't happen. It was the best urbanist sub and nothing can quite replace it.
