I will miss hobbydrama, subredditdrama, disneyvacation, and then a bunch of the smaller niche music subreddits dedicated to different types of metal, indie rock, and electronic music. This is actually my first post in the fediverse and I am hoping that enough of this type of stuff can find a home as the fediverse grows. I might just have to make some of the niche music ones myself.

The countless specific cat subreddits. The Gundam and gunpla communities. These can pop back up over here but it will take time for things to feel the same.
I visit /r/cars A LOT. I'm going to miss that one.
I suspect a new CARS community will pop up here pretty soon, though.
r/imaginarysliceoflife
/woodworking folks posting about the stuffy the build out of wood.
/r/aoe2 was one of my favorites. I hope plenty of users decide to make the switch.
r/internet_funeral They have surreal textual art which was pretty cool
Not gonna lie, but for me, it's gonna be mostly the hobby relaxed ones like
- r/diydrones
- r/fpv
- r/radiocontrol because I don't think many of them are willing to switch to another platform. The tech subs about 3d printing and stuff already exist here and simply need to grow.
- r/musictheory
- r/MostBeautiful
- r/flowers
- r/TikiHut
- r/nature
I'm subscribed to a lot of band/artist subreddits, so I'm going to miss them
I will miss /reddevils cause it's fun to see fans of your club interact on a daily basis. Same goes probably for all the wholesome subs, all the cute dog-content cause it was a good feeling to have positive outlets to come to and just have a few "aww"-moments.
Subreddit drama.
r/unresolvedmysteries
I'm going to miss all the curly hair subs, it's a niche topic but something I feel like I know a lot about. I really wanted a text based of the main sub though, apparently I found r/curlyhaircare is like that. Going to not go on reddit though as much as possible.
Username certainly checks out
Handwriting. I hope to see it here, because i am not looking back! >
It seems I linked the wrong community sorry
I know I saw a handwriting community around here somewhere although I can't seem to find it at the second
I loved r/hobbydrama, it was such a good place. :<
Sushi, pizza, food, sushiabominations, anything food related really. I used to only browse those subreddits until I got sucked into Frontpage and ended up sucked into a toxic cesspool of derangement hahah...
Anyone know how I can set an avatar btw? I'm obviously too dense to figure it out.
Iβm going to miss r/guitar and r/guitar lessons. As someone who just started getting back into playing guitar, those two subreddits were ESSENTIAL treasure troves of tips, information, and guides to learning, practicing and enjoying guitar. Hoping to find / develop something similar on Lemmyβ¦
Sunrise and Sourdough
Strangely, I already miss Me_IRL and White People Twitter. Both were fun.
I would say some of the more niche subreddits that would be harder to recreate elsewhere. Plus i used reddit a lot because i stay off of twitter and facebook because those are absolute garbage
