Granted, there would be exceptions, but in general: Did you go to sleep late in your teens or early twenties? No worries, if you're free the next day, you may as well sleep untill noon. Past your 30s or 40s, you end up waking up around the same hour you normally do regardless. Then there is the elderly, who only sleep a fraction of the hours they used to do years ago.

Besides "you're older", what changes happen in our brains or bodies that make you feel the bed is throwing you up sooner?
