Hello, I would like to make sure that this Laptop supports Fedora. I found out that it only had RHEL and Ubuntu Certification (https://ubuntu.com/certified/202309-32038), but not Fedora. So my question is will Fedora 100% work on it without any problems? https://psref.lenovo.com/Product/ThinkPad/ThinkPad_P16v_Gen_1_AMD I plan to use Fedora Onyx or Fedora Kinoite. Product id: 21FE000VCK

Can't reply to the other posts, as I assume they were deleted. I dug a bit further, and I found that it is a Synaptics sensor, which was unsupported on some ThinkPads according to this. However, yours might work, but you can't know for sure without checking the actual product. A fingerprint sensor is nice to have to be honest, but you can definitely use the laptop with Linux without it.

See if anyone else has the same version of laptop, or try asking Lenovo support for more information. You would need a USB ID like this: 06cb:015f. I wish you good luck!
