What I mean is, the CEO for my hospital gave himself a $250,000 raise last year. If not moren I can't remember the exact numbers from ProPublica (it's a non-profit so Upper management has wages posted there).
Yet,the staff wages were not raised because the hospital "didn't have the money." This was during COVID.
The hospital actually had significantally more millions that year than they had in the past. And they still chose to forgo the raises that year.
This is only one example.
Many of those in upper management of a corporation continue to get significant raises while the working class may get a 3% raise - if they get a raise at all. And the way that inflation is rising, the working class end up getting LESS money despite the raise.
Why?
