So in most of the TV shows characters are really bummed out from round birthdays and I was for long time thinking it is just exaggerated to make it comedic or something. Lately lot of my friends, colleagues and even my SO reached 30 and they were also all bummed out.
30s (I am month from 35) is the most awesome age I have so far experienced. You are starting to get some sort of actual wisdom, people take you more seriously, you have certain gravitas… everything is just better in 30s. Basically you are still young, but also receiving certain perks of being older – like I mentioned before.
I genuinely ask because I want to understand this situation because my SO is really bummed out and I want to help her, at least by understating her situation and being able to acknowledge it– so why are so many people bothered with reaching 30 years of age. Thank you
