I seem to encounter this often while using Sync, and have so for the past couple of years. Not sure why it's taken until now to ask about it. The issue is always as shown here. I'll open a post, even one that I've interacted with and have received replies, but despite my efforts I can't get it to actually display the comments. This seems to happen completely at random, and perhaps as often as 1 in 8 posts. Comments work completely fine elsewhere.

Clicking "View post" via the prompt at the bottom makes no difference.

Any ideas?

Is this when browsing your /local feed? Sync doesn't display comments in posts on your local feed, this bug has been known about and reported for over a year and a half by now I think.

It's one of the reasons I reluctantly stopped using it and moved to Summit.

Ey, Summit crowd. (High-Five) Best option post Sync's abandonment.

Yeah, Summit is awesome. idunnolulz is a great dev and the app is just getting better with each update. There is still some stuff I miss from Sync, like easy per-instance community listing and remote local, but I trust Summit will get there in the future.

I’ve seen that happen when you have a community (or instance) blocked in your settings and I think I’ve heard that in some cases where you’re banned from a community (though haven’t seen the latter myself)
