Why text no green?
Greentext
This is a place to share greentexts and witness the confounding life of Anon. If you're new to the Greentext community, think of it as a sort of zoo with Anon as the main attraction.
Be warned:
- Anon is often crazy.
- Anon is often depressed.
- Anon frequently shares thoughts that are immature, offensive, or incomprehensible.
If you find yourself getting angry (or god forbid, agreeing) with something Anon has said, you might be doing it wrong.
Cost cutting measures due to inflation. Green ink is expensive.

Fun fact, this is for the benefit of law enforcement. Your papers have faint tracking numbers printed on, and require the other colors to do it. Is it a good system? Should you send HP hate mail in quantities high enough to ddos them? Will there be a third question? I wouldn’t know
But you can actually buy black and white printers so how does that work?
They print it in faint black.
As I asked, is it a good system? Should you fax black paper to HP in a never ending loop? Hard to say, but I know what I believe in my heart of hearts
No it's the green pixels that cost too much.
in OLED screens the colors wear out over time at different rates, so you may be correct
It’s a good greentext, sir
We need a greytext community where lemmyites make the texts instead of 4chan
Agreed
Colorblind
Colorblind!? Sir, I am sure that text is green. Just like this image of innocuously colorful dots.
Shit I'm colourblind too.
