I hear a lot about the reasons why remote work is ending, sunk cost with corporate leases, middle management needing to flex, that productivity has dropped etc.

Can someone actually provide me a clear and concise reason backed by studies / surveys or some form of evidence on why return to office is prevailing over work from home.
