Honestly it is impressive pilots are even able to make a slow jet survivable at all in a modern conflict like this.
600 mph aint that fast for a top speed as a jet in Ukraine compared to everything that can kill you.
Russia is leaning on their frogfoots to deliver a large amount of munitions and it is honestly a disastarous attempt to make up for not having enough helicopter or fastjet CAS.
The frogfoots wont go away, they will just become unmanned, replaced by unmanned platforms or herded like crazy by escort drones because flying a SU-25 in such a high threat environment seems like a deathwish to me (or a good way to clear your backlog of veteran pilots because...?).
