It's amazing how a decades-long program of illegal deportations, camps for immigrants, and violent protest suppression is somehow being painted as solely Trump's fault, and not business as usual
Slop.

It's the crisis that the Dems blame on Trump
But then with Biden, the Dems suddenly yet justifiably claim regardless of whether he deals with it or not, this deportation policy will continue, but unreasonably that he has little control over it.
Yep I remember feeling somewhat that way about GWB but that was also because the patriot act happened and it made more sense to be like woah woah woah this is an insane escalation even over the shitty Clinton years. I now know I was not entirely right in GWB being uniquely evil but like, now? After all that has happened under both parties for the last 25 years? Seriously?
Anyone that still ascribes to this great man theory bullshit is a lost cause as far as I am concerned. I still try with them sometimes but I don't have high hopes for them.
I have no idea how anyone lived through Vietnam, Civil Rights, and the Reagan years yet remained a liberal. The only explanation is they choose to be ignorant or ideological.
Yeah I wasn't alive for those
Me neither which is why I find it all very silly. Like all it took for me to hate capitalism was Bush and Obama lmao
something something material conditions and ideology
In their defence Trump is a catalyst. He has this habit of taking systems where guardrails were eroded over decades and exploiting them.
I.e. business as usual but worse
I'll concede this to a minor degree, but basically every president is business as usual but worse

I jumped ahead and I ended up seeing something disturbing I wish I hadn't seen again. At ~2:00. It was footage that went viral of a pig pushing an old guy backwards. The guy smashes his head on the pavement and there's blood coming out of the back of his skull.

Yeah the other cop pulling the one away that was considering doing something is seared into my memory.
I thought about googling the guy to see if he's okay now. But I decided against it. What if that single event has left continuing damage? I'll have even more hatred toward that cop.

Here's a little filmic break from cop horrors. I certainly needed it.
The fantastic scene in RoboCop where ED-209 shoots the exec has a really great detail that I love. ED-209 has ripped his body to shreds and he fell on the model. We (the audience) don't know if he's still alive but it's most likely already dead. Somebody is about to touch him and a voice yells out "Don't touch him!... Don't touch him!"
I don't think the Youtube clip needs a CW - it's a movie after all. But I'll give a "gruesome warning" because the clip is from the director's cut so it's bloodier (but also funnier) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYsulVXpgYg&t=117s
I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
