We had a "Bike Rave" in my city on Saturday. The event was awesome, good tunes, great vibes, massive turnout.

But I left my bike unattended for five minutes to take a piss, and all of my shit got stolen. My bike, backpack, helmet, gopro, hoodie, everything. I got stranded and had to walk back home. Ran into an acquaintance on the way home who gave me a couple of cigarettes as a consolation prize.

The good news is that I still have wheels, I've got a skateboard and I can still get around town. I had my wallet and phone on my person so that wasn't lost.

Take care of your things folks, and always have a backup in case bullshit thieves take advantage of you.

That sucks so much, I'm sorry that happened to you.

We should all look after our stuff, but I also wish people didn't face material conditions that made them feel like they need to steal other people's shit
