Nope, was a substitute teacher for a while, if anything the kids are alright, in my time they'd never have the bawls to ask the sub about Marxist theory out of the blue though it was probably an edgy teen thing gave them the benefit of the doubt

The only difference is we didn't have cameras in our pockets and social media back in my day. We were little hellions. I remember one time this scary fucking dude confronted us over some dumb comments we were cracking in a parking lot. We deserved the call out. We were annoying as fuck and dude was just shopping with his wife (or gf) and had a kid in a stroller. We deserved to feel like asses for it.
These kids are so much better in every way, there is no comparison. Literally no way in which they're worse.

They are though. At least in rural areas. Most of the dumb shit kids did was isolated to bigger cities, now all the shit trends spread through social media. It used to be that the only thing anyone was creative enough to come up with was drink homemade wine and maybe hotwire a car. Now we have skinner boxes encouraging increasingly stupid and worse ways to interact with people.
Plus the pandemic fucked up a lot of people's social skills but that's not a moral judgment.
The kids are alright, but I do wish they would listen to me about the apps and the logan pauls
