My 12 year old brother and I (19 F) were having a good deep chat about our personalities, type of people we would wanna date in the future etc etc. and it ended up with him saying “ a gamer boy like me would never get a girl to like him”. I tried so hard to understand why he thought that and tried to talk confidence into him, but I don’t think it went through his head. I need someone to tell me what to tell him and how to act to make him understand that he doesn’t need anyone to like him and that’s enough for him to like himself ( which i told him that btw and he just outright said “ i don’t like myself”) ik it’s the teenage hormones messing him up but i wanna prevent his confidence from getting any worse.
