PieFed help
It's seems right that we should have a local community to help us all with PieFed
Rules
Be kind! We're all learning
I was testing this first with [email protected] before moving another one. I also received notification of your reply very late. I'm wondering if it might be better to just create new communities from scratch instead of moving them like this.
Edit: I see now I hadn't been added as moderator although the community's right panel showed otherwise. Even when doing this, if I try to invite someone there's still a popup message warning my account is too new to do this. Also, from Lemm.ee's side my account there is shown as a moderator of the Piefed community, contrary to what's seen from Piefed.social. There, posts made from Piefed aren't visible from Lemmy or Mastodon.
Posts in piefed.social/c/raidstream are not intended to show up in lemm.ee/c/raidstream. The idea is that the lemm.ee community is abandoned / locked once the move to piefed is done.
I think lemm.ee has disabled the ability to subscribe, because the instance is shutting down. So you can't subscribe at https://lemm.ee/c/[email protected] and won't receive posts. Try another instance.
Oops, I spoke too soon. I did subscribe successfully on lemm.ee, and after doing that my test post https://piefed.social/post/897304 showed up at https://lemm.ee/post/66474524
Please delete my test post after you see what I mean.
