Due to various biological factors, women cannot compete with men in almost every single sport which is fine since men should compete against men and women should compete against women. However, why has the best chess player on the planet never been a woman? I wouldn't consider chess a sport or chess players 'athletes' but chess does not really have a physical component to it where men would have the advantage.
