I always like to walk on the opposite side of vehicle traffic. In USA, where vehicles drive on the right side of the road, I like to walk on the left side. It feels like it is much safer in the sense that the vehicles that pass close by are actually in my field of vision and I am not as scared of vehicles hitting me from behind. What do others think?
