Insurers should have to pay customers $100 for every false record they have on their provider network pages. It should be their responsibility to maintain provider records, ensure they're still accepting the insurance and that they're taking new patients. If you find a provider, call them, and find that the insurer's site is wrong, then the insurer should owe you $100. This should apply for each and every false record they have in their network database.
