I've never been asked for proof of education (beyond a high school diploma for my first job at Starbucks) and from what I'm seeing, even people with degrees aren't getting hired, so it doesn't seem like it matters anyway.
Obviously this is not regarding anything where the education is "actually" necessary like practicing medicine or law or whatever. Just wondering if for example an entry-level receptionist job wants me to have a bachelor's to answer phones, can I just tell them I have one?
