Maybe there is some bias here I’m not seeing, but I occasionally see people post about their jobs in Reddit. I’ve noticed people making sub 100k are talking about how they’re over worked, have a degree and are deep in college debt. But the people earning 250k+ all say their work day is mostly meetings and they get plenty of vacations and days off. I would think that the more you make, the more responsibility and hence more work. But why does it seem the opposite? It might be worth mentioning a lot of the people I see are in some sort of director position.
