While serving time for Mr Appleton's murder, DNA evidence emerged linking Hardin to the long unsolved rape of Amy Harrison at Frank Tillery Elementary School in Rogers, Arkansas, in November 1997.

It's always ones you most expect.

This would be one of those cases where no one would be too bent outta shape if he fell accidentally a bunch of times while in police custody, or enjoyed a bullet salad when apprehended.

He's white, and a cop, so I suspect he'll be brought in unharmed.

The important take away: Prisons can be gotten into; they can be gotten out of.

Its easy to think of the US security state as a monolith. Decades of copaganda to convince you things are impossible.

Th US didn't invent prisons. Escapes happen everywhere, and have always happened.
