Twelve more candied jalapeños are done and sealed. I'm still trying to figure out what else to make. I'm looking at some strawberry lemonade concentrate but I'm unsure how much concentrate to liquid once done. Guess I'll just add water to taste! Apple butter and cranberry things will be in the fall!

that sounds delightful, is there a recipe you recommend? I pickled some jalepenos from my neighbor last year for the first time and was blown away how well it worked. They stayed good for six months easily and were delicious in everything. I'm looking for more ideas for this summer's batch.

I use the Ball recipe for candied jalapeños, and we've enjoyed that for many years! I haven't actually tried pickling yet, despite having the setup for that. The canned ones have stayed good for over a year when properly sealed, although I never keep them that long, we eat or share them well before that!
