I also don't care that you still hate me just because I didn't fucking vote for Biden, Harris, or Trump. :)

Deal with it. I'm not going anywhere.

The Vanguard Group and launched its organ, Vanguard: A Libertarian Communist Journal, partially to counteract anti-organizationalist and commune-building tendencies in anarchism. Clara Freidman, a founding member, explained, “Our purpose was to work out a positive program, to deal with anarchism in less amorphous and more concrete terms, to show it was a viable social philosophy.”

Something tells me they weren't all that successful in that regard.

Yeah, I've just read a letter from anarchist, Lucy Parsons, written in 1934. It legit sounds as if it could be written on Lemmy today: "Anarchism has not produced any organized ability in the present generation, only a few little loose, struggling groups, scattered over this vast country, that come together in “conferences” occasionally, talk to each other, then go home. Then we never hear from them again until another conference is held. "

And that was written in 1934! It's sooo much easier to organize now. But few really want to step out of their comfort zones. Sure, they'll type all about it in a Lemmy post, but when it comes to actually leaving their house...nope. Annoying.

I wouldn't say that - I'd say that anarchists are even less clear on what it is they are actually offering the working class today than they were back in the thirties.

Technology will not compensate for that.
