I mean, read the article? What he actually said was more like "so we got WAY more signups than expected. We can't keep signups open like this or the program will collapse. But we won't be removing anyone who was already approved and will be looking at how to continue on the future". That's.... pretty reasonable. Yeah, I opened the article thinking I was gonna be pissed too, but it's more of a click bait title than anything. It's less "this is the fault of illegals!" and more "so this program we created that helps undocumented immigrants has ballooned way past its estimated budget and is now a large percentage of our budget problem and needs to be addressed".

Honestly I did too. I only read the article to see exactly how mad to be, expecting him to be pulling a stunt and was suddenly like "oh, wait...."
