The Baba Yaga is a russian / eastern European fable; similar to Hänsel und Gretel from Germany. They didn't make that up for the john wick movies (in case you are serious)
Oh I was being serious but I also knew it wasn't made up for the movie. That was just the reference I used if that makes sense. Thanks.
