I was looking up ways to describe skin tone for a writing project and olive is on the list. I looked up some pictures and a person with an olive skin tone looks either white or someone white with a slight tan. I've only seen 2 types of olives in my life, green and black. Why call a light-skin tone olive? Who looked at a light skinned person and said "They look olive." Or am I looking at the wrong Google images and olive skin tone is something else?
