I mean, a *giant * part of me wants to say good, that it’ll only negatively affect the unvaccinated and that it’s just thinning the herd out or whatever borderline right winger bullshit, but that’s never the case. It’ll kill the sickest amongst us, the weakest, those who cannot get vaccinated against TB. Innocent people will die because some portion of the population holds the exact same scientific understanding of virology and vaccines as a river trout.

Also - depending on the disease kids of moronic parents will get sick, very sick, disabled, or die. This is a nightmare.

Another post of mine - Measles outbreak expands in West Texas around county with low vaccination rate - Hexbear

A Bluesky comment about the measles

Measles can cause permanent disability and even death in kids. Disabilities are usually detected within a year of recovery. They include brain damage, vision/hearing loss, and chronic lung disease.

Yeah unfortunately the stupid people putting everyone else at risk are mostly safe; their parents had them vaccinated as children. It’s their kids who are in danger.

I wonder how much that vax holds up when you're on your 7-10 Covid infection tho.

I guarantee you that some river trout would accidentally end up swimming towards vaccines and begrudgingly reaping their benefits.
