Every time I’ve gone to the airport as an adult, I look around and get the sense that a lot of people really just don’t want to be there. That getting a flu shot would be more enjoyable. But when I ask my parents about when they used to fly either as kids or when they got married, they talk about it quite positively and say they liked it.

Is it just flying has become more complex and commercialized since its inception?
