It's still doable, you're probably just doing less stuff than you were when you were younger. Idk how old you are, but find some group activities that are popular for your age group and sign up :)

It’s definitely harder the older you get(at least making good friends is).
In my experience check out meetup, or go to places you’re hobbies are common. While it’s work eventually you’ll vibe with someone and they’ll introduce you to their group and so on.
I’m new to lemmy, so as far as I know I don’t think there is a private messaging system yet, but you okay?
