It seems like there is very little pirated content for schools (textbooks) in the piracy scene. Here in Germany, e-books are becoming normal in education.

So I ask you, especially the Germans among you, if you know of resources for pirated textbooks used in schools and if you are interested in such.

Such books as PDFs are actually useful, as you might imagine, since proprietary apps (several) are standard.

Library Genesis (www.libgen.is) is an extremely useful resource for textbooks. Not guaranteed that it'll have what you're looking for, and I don't know much about it outside of the english language, but there's a decent chance you'll find what you need.

I'm a teacher and i always tell my students to definitely don't ever go to LibGen where their textbook is likely available totally free and certainly don't return your textbook and i absolutely won't be using it myself either.

Thanks for your input. Did some more intensive research on libgen, and actually there are some useful uploads :)

Edit: Still, I am optimistic that this can be improved

Came here to say this basically. Library Genesis and other students Definitely share textbooks, notes, previous exams between us all through Google Drive folders and other means

Yes I did, right before posting. Looked again and found one that could be useful in the future. But still veery limited (edit: in terms of these textbooks). Thanks though.

Not really, I couldn't find any useful german textbooks in the past, sadly. Will try again in the future. Thanks for your support though!

They're a few private trackers out that do this. Myanonamouse is one that comes to mind.

Yes the fmhy wiki is where the good stuff is. Anna's archive is the best as it compiles books from both zlib and libgen, albeit with a week or so delay between updates. The second best is the CSE's and if you can't find any from there, then it's much harder.

If it's impossible to find, then either nobody has bothered to rip it and it has some drm then in that case, your best bet is splitting the cost between others or borrowing an account (you could also try ripping it yourself then).
