Basically a zombie apocalypse but with Permian and Mesozoic fauna and flora instead of zombies. For the sake of making it work, a worldwide EMP incident destroys the world's electricity at the same time, preventing governments from fighting back, and the prehistoric organisms are magically adapted to modern diseases and flora.
