For anyone who cares about weird pointless drama, there has been a split going on within the news mega between doomers and bloomers. This is the context in which all of this is taking place. I'll offer my perspective from someone who has spend time in the news mega and who hates doomerism:

Every doomer has an implicit question (and sometime explicit question) appendaged in the end: why isn't Russia/China/Iran doing more? And I'm sorry, but it's the height of armchair quarterbacking to cry about them "not doing enough" when the vast majority of people saying this shit live within imperial core countries and who haven't done nowhere near enough to even be part of the conversation. Yes, not everyone in the news mega is from the West, but cmon, let's be serious here. The news mega isn't so completely removed from Hexbear that Hexbear's demographic of white Anglo Westerners doesn't rub onto the news mega demographic. Obviously, I don't think the label "doomer" is applicable to someone like LargePenis who has family there and who has skin in the game. He just had a son, and nobody should have to be in a position to raise a kid while all this bullshit is going on in the background, especially when his, his kid's, and the rest of his family's lives are personally endangered. Let's focus on Iran. Iran has repeatedly paid the price for their steadfast support of the Palestinians from the sanction warfare against them to them having to offer martyrs for the sake of the Palestinians. But it's never enough for the doomers. As True Promise showed us, there's nothing stopping Iran from just reducing Tel Aviv to rubble, but them not reducing Tel Aviv to rubble doesn't mean they're throwing the Axis of Resistance under the bus. Iran is facing against a nuclear power (well two if you consider the US to be an open adversary like the Zionist entity), and unless those doomers have written up an effortpost about how Iran actually has nukes of their own, a country without nukes will obviously be constrained when going against a country with nukes. And these doomers, many of them sitting on their asses within imperial core countries, have the absolute nerve, the sheer audacity to cry about Iran not doing enough. Easy for them to say when their asses are within the imperial core and their asses aren't gonna get nuked. Are the Iranians supposed to just be open towards getting nuked while their cowardly asses can't even break into a drone factory like the brave activists of Palestine Action? Are the Iranians supposed to be okay with their capital city being glassed while their cowardly asses think doing anything other than a meaningless protest is "adventurism?" And the thing is those doomers also shit on those college protests too for being ineffective. I suppose a bunch of college students with little life experience should've just formed revolutionary terror cells but in a non-adventurist way to assassinate prominent Zionists just like how Iranians should drop everything they're doing and wage revolutionary warfare against the Zionist entity even at the risk of total extermination through nukes.

In the end, doomerism is nothing more armchair quarterbacking to me, identical to people who say China is capitalist because Xi hasn't pressed the red communism button. And not just armchair quarterbacking, but a mean-spirited superiority complex that treats geopolitical events as bets to be won and lost. When news affiliated with the Axis of Resistance confirmed that Nasrallah has been martyred, the doomers were practically celebrating, gloating about how the bloomers had been coping and the doomers were right all along. This is how little the doomers actually care about the people involved and how much they treat this as a game to one-up others.

And as a final point, I have family within those hot zones (not in WANA but another zone the imperialists have their sights on), so it's not like I have no skin in the game. And it's honestly because I have some skin in the game that the doomers' motivations are a lot more transparent to me. "Uh aktually China should've shot down the plane Pelosi was on but because they didn't it proves China has no balls and now I'm gonna be a doomer whenever the topic of China comes up." Cool, way to treat an extremely serious and delicate geopolitical situation like a fucking videogame or prestige TV. Doesn't take a genius to predict what would happen if China actually did shot down that plane, but I guess they lost a bet against someone and has been seething since. Each one of the more than a billion Chinese lives, each with their own hopes and dreams, means absolutely nothing compared with them feeling slightly embarrassed for being wrong in a prediction.

Of course, the doomers always get owned sooner or later, and with this comes backlash and overcorrection. The doomers get owned, which causes the bloomers to overestimate how well things are going, which causes the mega to meltdown when things don't pan out the way bloomers say they would, which causes the doomers to come back and be even more overconfident, which causes the doomers to get owned, and so on in a neverending cycle.
