This community is mostly for discussion and news. Remember to search for the thing you're submitting before posting to see if it's already been posted.

We want to keep the quality of posts high. Therefore, memes, funny videos, low-effort posts and reposts are not allowed. We prohibit giveaways because we cannot be sure that the person holding the giveaway will actually do what they promise.

5. Mark Spoilers and NSFW

Make sure to mark your stuff or it may be removed.

No one wants to be spoiled. Therefore, always mark spoilers. Similarly mark NSFW, in case anyone is browsing in a public space or at work.

6. No linking to piracy

Don't share it here, there are other places to find it. Discussion of piracy is fine.

We don't want us moderators or the admins of lemmy.world to get in trouble for linking to piracy. Therefore, any link to piracy will be removed. Discussion of it is of course allowed.

There's been rumors of a rdr1 remaster because there was a new game rating that came out from south korea or something like that. What do you guys think? I reaaaaally want to play rdr1 on the PC but the usage of emulators put me off.

Yes, please! I would gladly pay for a 60FPS version

No AI texture remaster bullshit. Just release the game as it is, but 4k/60FPS

Well this is exciting! I hope if they are in fact remastering 1, that they will patch 2 to run at 60fps and take advantage of the new consoles. I’d be good with them bundling the second enhanced for the new consoles if I buy the 1st remake. That would be dope

I hope so, I never played RDR1 since I don't own any consoles and RDR2 is one of my favorite games. I hope it happens but I fear the backlash from the GTA Trilogy made them decide to trash the remaster. If they do actually end up remastering it I hope to god they don't give it to Grove Street Games, or if they are, they don't just slap AI-processed up scaling and not much else. Even to this day the Vice City remaster is filled with bugs and all the games characters look hideous and deformed.
