It does bring me a lot of Joy when picking up Kid2 from daycare and hearing him say "Dada!" when he sees me at the door.
Oh yeah he might completelyd engrossed in something, deaf and blind to the world but once he sees me he will light up like a christmas tree and whatever he's been doing becomes irrelevant he will come to me for a hug🥰
