I'll repeat the sentiment I've heard here before: why do chuds do this to themselves? Don't they realize they can still watch the media they enjoy? I thoroughly disagree with their reactionary drivel, but I agree that plenty of the Hollywood slop these days is not that good. So what? Just go watch old movies, or foreign film, indie, anything. They can only complain. It's exhausting.
They complain because they feel entitled to all the treats
All they have is the slop. Foreign films and indies are liberal or worse, and any movie that isn't action slop is boring and for women. What old movies are they supposed to watch? Cowboy movies? Stalin loved those, they're woke commie garbage. Action? The effects aren't as good. No, they have nothing, especially not since their wife took the kids...

It kind of does, at least for the terminal-stage aging gamedads. It wouldn't be crowdfunded to the tune of nearly a billion dollars if it wasn't, while having a shrinking playerbase yet still making more money every year.

is that these chuds are holding on to Marvel as their most sacred cultural institution. You are hanging on for dear life hoping that movies about unserious supercops beating each other to restore the status quo to bring meaning back to your life. Literally hopeless nation. Shameful.
Think about it, are we supposed to take out Spiderman and SpongeBob? They don't have any heroes. We have a country in front of us with a large population and a large land mass, but it doesn't have any heroes, all of their heroes are cartoon characters, they're all fictional.

They would have nothing else to talk about.
They just want to complain but the only thing they know about or care about is their treats. So they complain about the treats.
The best explanation I’ve heard for this phenomenon is that they’re man children who don’t want to accept that the reason new Star Wars, Marvel, LOTR, etc doesn’t make them feel the way they did when they were nine years old watching the originals is, they’re not nine anymore. They’re adults, they don’t have the wide-eyes wonder anymore, they’ve developed enough to see weak plots and poor suspensions of disbelief that nine year old them wouldn’t pick up on. They can’t just watch the old films because that will just be nostalgic, instead of recreating that feel they had watching it for the first time.
But rather than accept that perspective of media is something they’ve lost, they keep going back to the slop hoping beyond hope it will come back. And when it doesn’t, they get disappointed and mad and, hey here’s a culture warrior saying the problem with modern media is woke and DEI and feeeemale. Now there’s an outlet, an explanation that isn’t growing up.
That's a good explanation. But why are chuds so stuck in the past? Why can't they move on and just watch something that makes them happy?
I think maybe nothing could make them happy?

Because then they have to accept the loss and temporality of that feeling and time in their life and that’s a scary/depressing thought for some people.

If they watch the old movies with the brainrot they have now a lot of classics may end up being too "woke" for em and they may not be able to handle it

At least you say this and go on to actually follow through. These chuds probably torture themselves hatewatching the soulless slop garbage and generate more buzz than any fans do.

They will complain about things like this, then still go out and watch it. They'll say they hate watch. But the execs of Netflix/Amazon/Disney don't know that, nor do they care. They still got your time and money.

I'm not knocking it for being unoriginal mind you, nothing is original (certainly not action movies)- I just can't handle the stress of knowing the couple is definitely going to break up some time in the next hour when the couple is getting together originally. I get too nervous for them.
We kind of already have that in Hallmark movies.
